Product Details:
Allows simultaneous operation of up to four pairs of 8ohm or 16ohm speakers, in any combination. While primarily intended for use with 8ohm and 16ohm speakers, a switch is provided to insert sufficient resistance to safely operate 4ohm speakers. An amplifier A/B switch allows selection from two different sources allowing greater flexibility. Progressive impedance circuit ensures that the amplifier sees a 4ohm or higher load, regardless of speakers selected. This circuit inserts no resistance when any two pairs are selected, inserts a small amount when any three or four pairs are selected, and slightly more when five or all six pairs are selected. This ensures that maximum power is delivered to the speakers, additional resistance is inserted only when needed. Left and right channels are fully isolated from each other, allowing compatibility with any type of amplifier. Thermo-Tek™ circuit protects switch and components in the event of an overload situation. Power capacity 40W/120W RMS/program. Rear mounted terminal strip accepts up to 10AWG wire. |
