I decided to try this as a replacement in a pair of Peavey SP1G's, since they were $60.00 cheaper (each) than the replacements from Peavey. Plus MCM is local and I was able to skip the shipping cost.
I am absolutely thrilled with the results. I had to do a very slight mod on the cabinet, to allow for the slightly larger frame diameter, but the holes lined up perfectly, and the drivers sound fantastic.
These are used on a PeeWee and Jr High football field, and are subject to a great deal of punishment, yet they hold up great. I highly recommend.

I am in the karaoke/dj buisness on the weekends. I have tried many different brands of replacement drivers in the past, with better luck on some than others. What i can tell you is this thing pounds. It will work in a sub encloser, or as a fullrange driver. This thing will take all a mackie 2600 bridged will throw at it in a sub encloser! Its worth every penny!!!!
