Having thought about some of the cheaper versions of this kind of speaker selector, I went with this one because it claimed to handle 20 Hz rather than 35. Also, I appreciated the extra notch of volume attenuation and the screw-held wiring (up to 10 AWG). Now I can reduce the rather uncontrolled full-range speaker in my kitchen and significantly reduce the small shielded speakers on my desktop, while at the same time filling larger areas like the dining and living rooms at the same relative volume level. My thanks also go out to MCM for posting the manual on their Site, as this answered a lot of questions for me.
