Speaker Measurement Interface
The Tenma SMI is essential for deign, refurbishing or DIY speaker building. This compact interface is powered directly from the USB port of most PC’s, including laptops, and provide full T/S parameters of the connected speaker. Simply connect to an unmounted driver, and in a few minutes, this device will provide Fs, Cms, Qts, Vas, BL, Re, Le, Mms and CMS measurements, as well as an impedance curve and more. Measurements can be performed in most any shop or home, no special microphones or testing area is required.

A good friend recommended this device to me for my audio test bench. I tried his WT2 out, it seemed to function fairly well, though the interface seemed sluggish. I had intended to purchase and use the Woofer Tester II in an application for the military... UNTIL I found out that the device had not been FCC approved!!! Also the housing for the electronics looked more like an assembled kit/project than something you would think came from an assembly line...maybe it didn't? Maybe they should just offer this in a kit? Seems a bit like a hobby device rather than a serious piece of test equipment.
