Product Details:
Use where SPDIF signal levels need to be boosted or recovered, or where a digital audio signal needs to be converted between coaxial and optical. Single channel module features BNC, phono and optical inputs (conventional SPDIF format), any one of which may be used, and the coaxial input has priority over the optical input. BNC, phono and optical outputs are provided. Either of the coaxial jacks, and/or the optical output may be connected simultaneously. High input sensitivity permits operation with coaxial input levels as low as 100mV. The module detects and amplifies low signals, and reshapes the output for minimum jitter. Installation at the receiving end of a weak SPDIF line restores the signal level to its correct amplitude, and extends the useful range to avoid signal dropouts. Front panel LED illuminates when sufficient input signal is received to produce the correct output from the module. Requires 24VDC, 80mA, ground referenced. |
